College Golf Returns to Caledonia for the Golfweek Fall Challenge

The Campbell University Camels’ women’s golf team took a commanding lead and never looked back in joining the Delaware men’s team as champions of the 2021 Golfweek Fall Challenge at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club.

WOMEN’S LEADERBOARD

Campbell’s Anna Nordfors (E) led the final-round scoring at Caledonia for the Camels’ women’s team (+1), which finished 12 shots clear of runner-up Jacksonville State. East Carolina (+15), Lipscomb (+19) and Central Arkansas (+25) rounded out the women’s top five.

Thirty-eight NCAA Division I collegiate golf teams descended upon the Grand Strand this fall to compete in the 54-hole event hosted by the South Strand’s elite Mike Strantz designs. Nine colleges and universities were represented by teams in both the men’s and women’s divisions: Jacksonville State, Delaware, Wofford, Tennessee Tech, Campbell, USC Upstate, Presbyterian, Stephen F. Austin and Gardner-Webb.
