The Coastal Carolina University women’s golf team rolled to a six-stroke victory in April at the 2025 Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge hosted at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
The Chanticleers bested a field of 16 teams with a 54-hole team total score of 3-over par as Middle Tennessee and Akron finished second and third, respectively. Ella Murray (-1) and Sara Sarrion (E) paced Coastal Carolina, while Evansville’s Kate Petrova (-5) took home individual medalist honors.
The aforementioned teams were joined by squads from Morehead State, UNC Asheville, Fairleigh Dickinson, Ohio, USC Upstate, Marshall, Winthrop, Towson, UIC, Mount St. Mary’s, Stonehill College, and Stephen F. Austin State.
