The Campbell University Women’s Golf Team secured the championship trophy at the 2024 Golfweek Fall Challenge in September at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.
For the Campbell women, the victory marked a milestone in the career of National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee John Crooks, who earned his 100th career win as a women’s college golf coach. His squad completed its 54 holes of play at Caledonia at 2-under par, good for a five-stroke victory over runner-up UNC Wilmington (+3). UNC Greensboro (+8), High Point (+9) and Charlotte (+9) rounded out the top five finishing teams.
New Mexico State’s Emma Bunch (-7) won individual medalist honors with a one-stroke victory over Charleston Southern’s Katie Stephens.
