Caledonia GFC & True Blue GC Team Up with Golfweek Magazine to Host The Program Challenge

The men and women will be broken up into two different divisions, with the men competing at True Blue and the women teeing off at Caledonia. The Program Challenge Tournament will hand out titles to the top men’s and women’s team, along with an overall team title to one collegiate program, which is determined by the program’s men’s and women’s combined total score.

The 16 schools slated to participate include: Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio), Western Carolina University (Cullowhee, N.C.), Boston College (Chestnut Hill, Mass.), Campbell University (Buies Creek, N.C.), Elon University (Elon, N.C.), Gardner-Webb University (Gardner Webb, N.C.), Houston Baptist University (Houston, Texas), Jacksonville University (Jacksonville, Fla.), Jacksonville State University (Jacksonville, Ala.), James Madison University (Harrisonburg, Va.), Mercer University (Macon, Ga.), Morehead State University (Morehead, Ky.), Radford University (Radford, Va.), Stetson University (DeLand, Fla.), Tennessee Tech University (Cookeville, Tenn.) and Valparaiso University (Valparaiso, Ind.).

“We’re proud to host this tournament for the seventh-straight year; it is always a major highlight of our event year,” said Bob Seganti, PGA director of golf operations for Caledonia Golf & Fish Club and True Blue Golf Club. “It’s exciting to see Division I athletes compete on our golf courses for such a prestigious title.”
