Golfweek Ranks Caledonia Golf & Fish Club Among Top 100 Public-Access Courses in the U.S.

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The prestigious list of Golfweek’s 2025 Top 100 public‑access courses has just been released—and we’re thrilled to announce that Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is ranked 70th in the country!  Golfweek’s panel ranks courses based on conditioning, design quality, shot variety, and memorability—attributes where Caledonia thrives every time it’s played.

Golfweek’s expert panel evaluates each course using ten specific criteria that collectively define excellence in course design, experience, and overall appeal. Caledonia shined across the board, particularly in areas like routing, variety of holes, and the unforgettable “walk in the park” feel that defines the golfer’s journey through its live-oak-lined fairways and marshland vistas.  View the full list of criteria here.

This honor solidifies Caledonia’s reputation as one of the premier public courses in the country, and it stands tall among the many world-class options available in the Myrtle Beach area.
